2026 SUMMER REHEARSALS
Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00pm to 9:00pm Bonita Band Room/Bonita Stadium
June 23rd, 25th
July 2nd, 7th, 9th
Each evening rehearsal will consist of music rehearsal, marching rehearsal, physical fitness and team building activities. Make sure to bring water and wear clothing that is comfortable for working out in warm temperatures. Summer rehearsals are voluntary -- If you are in town and available you are expected to be at rehearsal. If you are out of town on vacation or have a prior commitment, you are excused.
2026 AUGUST BAND CAMP
Monday through Friday 8:00am-12:00noon *AND* 5:00pm-9:00pm Bonita Band Room
August 3rd - 7th
August 10th - 14th
It will be hot and sunny, so please dress appropriately and bring sunscreen. Hats and visors are recommended. Each day of camp will contain music rehearsals, physical fitness and marching rehearsal. We will take ample breaks. Please ring your own thermos filled with ice water to stay hydrated. Band Camp is mandatory, so if you have a conflict, contact Mr. Bird ASAP.
2026 PARENT MEETING
To Be Determined Early August BHS Band Room
Mandatory informational meeting to discuss schedule, expectations, spirit packs, parent volunteers and answer parent questions. Each band member must have at least 1 parent in attendance at 1 of these meetings.
2026 PARENT PERFORMANCE, POT LUCK AND SKIT NIGHT
Friday, August 14th 6:00pm Bonita Stadium/Student Union
Skit Night is an opportunity for the band to show the parents what they have learned during band camp. There will a performance at the Stadium followed by a Pot Luck on campus and an evening of student-performed skits and games in the Student Union.
2026 FALL MARCHING REHEARSALS
Every Monday and Thursday 5:45pm to 9:00pm Bonita Stadium
August 17th through November 19th
*No rehearsal on Monday, September 7th due to Labor Day Holiday*
There will be a Wednesday evening rehearsal on October 28th from 5:45pm to 9pm.
The final Marching rehearsal of the season will be the Marching Band Showcase, a fully uniformed performance for parents and recognition of our seniors.
Color Guard will have regular rehearsals each school day from 7:30am through 1st period.
Students will receive PE credit for their participation in the Marching Band program.

Competition days are mandatory and are all day events.
Please do not schedule any other activities on these days.
