Born on athletic fields across the nation, steeped in the tradition of military and outdoor pageantry, bands, and color guards have a long history in America. Often rehearsing nine hours a day through heat, cold, dust and rain, they create thrilling performances where athleticism, musical talent, kaleidoscopic movement, and showmanship merge into an art form that is both competitive and entertaining.
Rising from the foothills of La Verne, The Marching Bearcats, consistently sets ever-higher standards of excellence. From its inception, The Bonita Band & Color Guard have achieved success in such a short time with 2012/2013 being no exception.
