Born on athletic fields across the nation, steeped in the tradition of military and outdoor pageantry, bands, and color guards have a long history in America. Often rehearsing nine hours a day through heat, cold, dust and rain, they create thrilling performances where athleticism, musical talent, kaleidoscopic movement, and showmanship merge into an art form that is both competitive and entertaining.

Rising from the foothills of La Verne, The Marching Bearcats, consistently sets ever-higher standards of excellence. From its inception, The Bonita Band & Color Guard have achieved success in such a short time with 2011/2012 being no exception.

With a program deep with tradition in all areas of performance including Marching Band, Drumline, Color Guard, Jazz Band and Symphonic Band. The Bonita High School Instrumental Music Program would like to invite you to experience and share in the excitement and joy of our program.
